On Monday, April 13th, Yad Vashem USA Foundation partnered with the Marlene Mayerson Manhattan JCC to present MY UNDERGROUND MOTHER, a film made by the daughter of a survivor, and documents her quest to uncover her mother’s experience during the Holocaust. Yad Vashem is featured prominently in the film, both in shots of the museum as well as in the filmmaker’s visit to YV’s archives to view a notebook that holds notes and details written by her mother and other women in a work camp.
