Lori Gerson, Senior Educator and Director in Yad Vashem’s Overseas Education and Training Department, in partnership with the 3GNY and 3GNJ Decendents of Holocaust Survivors and hosted by the Greater MetroWest New Jersey Federation, led a Holocaust presentation enrichment program. Descendants of survivors deepened their storytelling skills by learning Yad Vashem’s pedagogical guidelines for age-appropriate Holocaust education, equipping them to share their families’ stories confidently with students across all grade levels. The session blended instruction with hands-on learning, leaving participants with a sharper sense of purpose and clearer educational goals.
